Gathering my writings
Since early this year I have been working on gathering my writings, scattered across different places: journals, notes, drafts, and pages that over time were left unfinished or went offline.
Some of those texts date back to my beginnings as a Linux user in 1995. Reading them again is like opening an old toolbox: there are ideas I would no longer use in the same way, others that still represent me, and many marks of who I was when I was just beginning to inhabit open-source software communities and the Web.
The work of transforming them, sorting them, cleaning them, adapting them, and translating them to publish them on this site is not only for archival purposes. It is to give them a shared home, with the care they deserve and the continuity they never had.
If you find any of those pieces in the coming weeks, you will know where they come from. See you between paragraphs!
